How Carpeet works

How it works

Unzip. Cold. Done.

Only the top layer goes in the machine. The pad stays on the floor, gripping it, the whole time.

Between washes

Most homes wash every 4 to 8 weeks, or right after a spill. Washing is what the top layer is for.

Vacuum weekly

Low suction, no beater bar. The low pile lets go of dust and fur in one pass.

Blot, don't rub

Work from the outside of a spill inward. Rubbing pushes it into the fibre.

The pad stays down

Wipe it with a damp cloth if something soaks through. Vacuum the floor side once a month so the grip stays strong.

A 9×12 needs a bigger machine

Top layers up to 8×10 fit a standard home washer. A 9×12 needs a large-capacity machine. The front-loaders at a laundromat do it in one cycle.

A spare top layer means the floor is never bare while one is drying.
