We started Carpeet because the nicest rug in the house was always the one nobody was allowed to sit on. So we made rugs that expect paws, juice and Sunday coffee, and go in the washer when they get them.

How we make them
Two layers, one idea
A tight, solution-dyed top layer you can wash on cold, zipped onto a natural rubber pad that stays on the floor. Wash the part that gets dirty. Keep the part that does the work.
